Bush vs. Kerry

It's amazing the way I thought time was up for the Bush administration is concerned was obvious...for obvious reasons. Kerry has all along had the support of Democrat admired ex-president Bill Clinton but still according the the polls Bush is in the lead,by a narrow margin though.

Bush may be right and sound really enthusiastic as far as defeating terrorism is concerned. However, his methods of implementation have yielded dire consequences that may rather be referred to as side effects. These side-effects affect not only the US citiznes but also American community in the diaspora.Ofcourse, these side-effects affect the world ,too.

I really hope US citizens realise what's best for them, fathers and mothers have lost sons to a war that was waged with clumsy reasons against the UN as the sole authority, sisters have lost brothers. Talk about gruesome acts like beheading that's been the order of the day. The world has suffered because of a decision that was not justified. The question remains:'how long is it going to take to pay the price?'

A peaceful world?

It's yet another crisis, but this time not any one of those common crises.
It was shocking to learn of the brutal act of the hostage-takers at a Russian School over the weekend.
The school-siege was so alarming, tension-gripping and shocking at the end of the ordeal.
I thought to myself why someone/somepeople could simply get up one day and take innocent children hostage. I feel for the parents of those innocent victims of circumstance...the air in Beslan is definitely dumb.
This reminded me about: "Escape from Sobibor" a movie that has special focus on the holocaust;at the height of the Nazi menace.
The school siege will go down in the books of history and something ought to be done by the authorities concerned..talk about the UN and its specialised agencies.

The war against terror is not about armed encounters as has been noticed in Iraq, but rather dictates a peaceful approach, however challenging it may be.
Or else the terrorists remain the winners.
May those who perished at the hands of 'modern barbaric act' rest in peace.
